What's in the app

🚨Slide-to-send panic alert

Slide to send. Your alert reaches your local neighbourhood watch control room with your name, address, medical info and live position — no phone call, no explaining.

📍Live location sharing

While your alert is active, your position updates on the control room's map every few seconds. If you move, help follows. Sharing stops automatically when the incident is resolved.

🔔Live status updates

Watch your alert go from “PENDING” to “DISPATCHED — Units are en route to you” to resolved in real time — you always know whether help is coming and when it's over.

📞Emergency numbers built in

Quick access to South Africa's national emergency lines — 112, 10111 and 10177 — for situations outside your watch's coverage, or when you need national services too.

Is your neighbourhood covered?

The app works wherever a registered neighbourhood watch covers the area. If your watch isn't on PanicZA yet, that's the place to start.
